Our Story

My name is Barb Goodwin R.N. B.S.N. I facilitated a breast cancer support group for 10 years. It was during this time that a woman in my support group called to tell me that she wouldn’t be able to make it to the group that night because she had just had her last radiation treatment. Her skin was so badly burned that all she wanted to do was to go home and take her clothes off so that NOTHING touched her skin. About this time I was learning about essential oils and carrier oils.

From this, Healing Comfort was born. Healing Comfort was originally formulated to protect the skin of people undergoing radiation treatment for cancer. Over the past couple of years I have been perfecting the formula. Some of my friends and also my mother have used it with such great results that I was encouraged to market it and share it with others. I have also found that Healing Comfort helps with the external symptoms of eczema, psoriasis, dry cracked skin, sunburn and other burns, both first and second degree. Please read the testimonials.
